Born in Florence on 22 October 1964, where he now resides, he
belongs to the Tuscan school. He learned engraving as a student
at a high school for the arts under Cacciarini and Mariani. After
earning a degree in architecture he continued engraving, devoting
himself particularly to etching, traveling also to Holland to
study Rembrandt. He has a corpus of 90 engravings, with etching
his preferred technique. Stylistically neo-classical, he is
in the Florentine Purist schools, which is figurative and perspectival,
and belongs to the figurative movement Academia Nova. He does
